Minutes

The meeting was convened at 7:15pm at the Vashon Chamber office. Present were: Board President James English, Secretary Steven Macdonald and Treasurer Nan Hammett. Director Macdonald chaired the meeting. The agenda is attached as the last page of these minutes.

Announcements

Our news release appeared in the Ticket on 25 April.

Review and adoption of minutes from prior meeting (4/9/02)

The minutes were adopted with minor corrections.

Board membership

The resignation of Jake Jacobovitch from the Board was discussed. No replacement was nominated. A search for individuals with complementary skill sets (to augment the current skills of the present Board) was initiated.

   Technical consulting services

An attempt will be made to invite Ecology's Kathy Seel to a on-island meeting for the purpose of discussion of contracts details.

   Financial affairs

The bills for $86.40 from Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce, and $35 from the Land Trust, were given to Treasurer Hammett. President English signed the Statewide Vendor Registration and W-9 forms, for the state Office of Financial Management.

   VMICC HMRC topics

The discussion at the 5/10/02 meeting was reviewed.

Next meetings

The date for the August meeting was changed to be Tuesday, 10 September.
