The Institute for Environmental Research and Education (IERE) is a nonprofit organization that supports environmental decision making based on factual information. We obtain and help others obtain the knowledge and skills they need to make better environmental decisions.
The American Center for Life Cycle Assessment (ACLCA, ) is a major project of the Institute for Environmental Research and Education (IERE) with the mission to to increase awareness of and to promote the adoption of Environmental LCA among industry, government, and NGOs. In supporting that mission, policy outreach is becoming more and more important.
